Description

The EPR spectrum of Eu2+ in cubic sites of BaF 2 has been observed at various temperatures between 2 and 360°K. The spin Hamiltonian constants b4, A, b6, and g have been measured for 151Eu in this temperature range. Certain qualitative analysis is reported on the "forbidden" lines that appear as the temperature is lowered.
