Abstract
This research provides an in-depth exploration of 3D workflow methodologies for digital merchants, how and why to implement them, and their correlation with passive income earnings. Digestible strategies regarding the development, packaging, marketing, and sale of assets for digital marketplaces are explored at length. Motivated by the state of the digital media industry, this research demonstrates that secondary income is possible through consistent, applied methodologies. Topics include environmental storytelling, the importance of being user friendly, material variance, and much more. The author demonstrates the impact of reframing your approach when designing products with the intention to sell, and explores the overarching timeline involved with building a brand identity and social presence as an independent merchant. The research presents a unique outlook on 3D workflows with an end goal of generating additional revenue, and how they differ from the norm. Given the current condition of creative industries and looming threats from AI, the author presents a non-traditional path towards financial stability. In sharing personal analytics, the author provides a valuable resource for aspiring digital content creators looking to begin passively earning a portion of their income.
