Short Abstract

By analyzing Shared Family Identity and the dimensions of forgiveness following a relational transgression, I seek to understand the factors that influence the forgiveness process in sibling relationships. I uncover the types of relational transgressions that siblings commonly experience along with significant findings that suggest that family ties have an impact on the forgiveness process.
