Short Abstract
Increased academic demands, strivings for perfectionism, and personal pressures honors students place upon themselves may present possible unique correlates of risk behavior engagement or non-engagement in this population. Online survey data was collected from 423 honors and non-honors students from ETSU to assess differences in demographics, academics, stress, and risky behaviors. Results suggested that honors students reported significantly higher GPAs and increased credits hours, however, no differences were found concerning stress and risky behaviors between the two groups.
