Now & Then: The Appalachian Magazine, Volume 06, Issue 02, published in 1989. The theme of this issue is Sense of Place in Appalachia. This issue examines how identity and belonging are shaped by landscape, memory, and lived experience in Appalachia, through essays, fiction, poetry, and interviews with regional writers.
