Short Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between having a support system and the stigma individuals face with mental health symptoms. My hypothesis is that having a social support can reduce the impact of perceived stigma in individuals with symptoms of depression and anxiety. For this study, I am using an online survey to measure symptoms of depression and anxiety, experiences with stigma, and perceived stigma. The findings of this study will be discussed later in the paper.
