The Applied Project is the culminating work for Master of Arts in Appalachian Studies students (non-thesis option). It applies knowledge, skills, and methods in Appalachian Studies. Projects may be creative in nature or may provide experience in community or regional development, and requires a written component, a final product, and an oral presentation/defense.
