Politically Speaking was a podcast challenging ETSU students to dig into the ideas of personal freedom and engaged citizenship. Host Dr. Daryl A. Carter, a professor and widely respected scholar of political history, “talked politics” with members of the ETSU campus community, asking meaningful questions about what we expect from our government, what it means to be an engaged and responsible citizen, and how to productively disagree while maintaining civility.
Podcast episodes were released weekly in fall 2024, leading up to the 2024 general election.
