Description

Excerpt: An evanescent spirit of the past is present at the core of much of Robert Morgan’s poetry, and a keen historical consciousness infuses his fiction. To Morgan, though, imaginative approaches to understanding the principal setting in virtually all his literary works (Appalachia) and the central theme of those works (the unique experience of living in Appalachia) ultimately proved limiting.
