Participants will learn how to engage students with space history, exploration, and aeronautics through the lens of social studies. From Hidden Figures, to rockets, to living on Mars, to California’s pivotal role in space exploration, participants will leave with new knowledge and resources from NASA, explore classroom primary sources and women in space, and connections to the History-Social Science Framework.
