Abstract
JOHNSON CITY – Heralded by “The New Yorker” as the “world’s reigning male chorus,” Chanticleer is coming to East Tennessee State University next month.

The concert is Tuesday, Feb. 28, at 7:30 p.m. at the ETSU Martin Center for the Arts.
“Having this Grammy Award-winning ensemble come to the Appalachian Highlands is a true delight,” said Dr. Alan Stevens, chair of the Department of Music. “Get your tickets now for the group known around the world as ‘an orchestra of voices.’ ”
Founded in San Francisco in 1978 by Louis Botto, Chanticleer quickly took its place as a prolific ensemble. Chanticleer has sold over 1 million recordings and performed thousands of live concerts around the world.
