Short Abstract

The purpose is to understand the relationship between a daily diet of less than 4 grams of sugar, less than 200 mg of caffeine, increased whole grains, and a vitamin D3 supplement of 600 ius and the intensity of premenstrual syndrome in comparison to an Appalachian diet of increased fast food and sugar sweetened beverage consumption. A survey will be sent out to female students at East Tennessee State University to be completed for 3 consecutive menstrual cycles.
