Abstract
Mindy Herrin Jewelry & Metals professor currently has an article published about her work in this month's Nashville Arts Magazine. Herrin is concurrently exhibitng the work at the Customs House Museum in Clarksville, Tennessee. Narrative Illusions: The Visions of Mindy Herrin will be on display through April 30, 2018. Herrin’s three-dimensional work incorporates realism, organic imagery, and found objects in imaginative ways. There is a trance-like quality to her figures, and sculptures laden with symbolism act like puzzles, leaving the viewer to decipher her vision.
