According to RxList.com, over 2.5 billion prescriptions were written for the top 300 medications in 2005 (1). Although most are effective at controlling or treating diseases states, many also have undesired side effects including sexual side effects. Over 200 medications have been cited in case reports, in prescribing literature, or in controlled studies as possibly having an impact on sexual function (2).
